The Guru Nanak College of Pharmaceutical Sciences organized an enlightening visit to the Indian Parliament for its scholars on the 26th of April, 2024. This visit aimed to immerse students in the essence of governance and legislative discourse, thereby recognizing the importance of civic engagement in their holistic development. Nearly all the students from Pharmaceutical department participated in this unique experience.
The event was graced by the presence of Mrs. Vineet Arora – COO, Guru Nanak College of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Along with the chief guest, faculty members from Pharmaceutical department were also present to support the students. The visit was designed to ignite a passion for active citizenship and provide firsthand experience of India's democratic processes. The event received positive feedback from both students and faculty members, with many expressing their appreciation for the college's efforts to organize such a captivating and educational visit. Overall, the Parliament visit served its purpose of fostering a sense of civic responsibility and engagement within the college community.
